Message and it could be argued that the UD pulley would be the worse of the two cases. :)

: On my way to work this morning. I heard a little noise after getting on my car some. It happens only around 2800 RPM's and only when under load. When i got to work i opened the hood and listened for as i reved up the motor. I only could hear it around 2800-3000RPM's and only when it was reving up kinda under load? I can also kinda hear it when i am accelerating in 1st. It is not loud at all. I have to listen to hear it. My oil pressure is good. It never makes any kind of noises when i first crank it up in the morning. Has great power. and generally runs great. Could this be an early sign of a rod bearing dying? I just thought when they go they usually go all at once and not gradually.
