I'm the one looking at the car. I plan on getting it inspected by a very reputable body shop that I have trusted to work on a previous vehicle, as well as a competent mechanic (can anyone recommend one in the Louisville area?) before I commit to buying the car. Like I told nissanzxman, I did inspect the car and the front end has not been touched (the bolt heads have not been turned, as there are no paint scrapes and the paint has not been disturbed), the t-tops have the correct VIN on them and show no sign of leaking, and the spare tire well has not had a bunch of water leaking into it, and the fiberboard piece between the carpet (as well as the carpet) over the spare tire well are not water damaged. The car only has 41,000 miles on it, and is MINT except for the repair to the back, which is very well done. Anyone perchance know the previous owner of the car? He was from the Louisville area, judging by the 3 entries on the CarFax report.
