Message	R&D is expensive, Solidworks is Expensive. Prototypes are very expensive, Multiple Prototypes are very very expensive. Tooling costs are INSANE. You are looking at well over $300,000 dollar investment if you are using gears that are currently available, much more if you have to have the gears designed, prototyped and machined. Titanium has poor wear characteristics.
