Message texas world speedway outside of bryan/college station texas. "close" to austin. plenty of events over the year. I'd estimate 18-20 out of 52 weekends are some form of drivers education event that you can join in on.

texas motor speedway outside of fortworth texas. not many events here. VERY fast track. VERY difficult on Z cars due to oiling issues while on the high bank. VERY fast track.

Hallet motor speedway outside of Tulsa Oklahoma. plenty of events here. Probably 5-10 a year. AWESOME tough course. HARD on brakes. But truelly FUN.

MotorSport Ranch outside of fortworth texas. This is a private race track. Much like a private golf club, members only. HOWEVER, NASA got the rights to run there this past weekend. very technical track, but rare to get in on an event there from what I know.

It's best to check with the PCA (porsche club of america) regions to see who's doing what. There is the PCA MAverick reagion (dallas/fortworh), PCA Cimmaron region (Tulsa/Ar/Tenn), and the hill country PCA region (austion).

Drivers edge also host events. Infact, they are strictly a high speed driving school from what I know. Good classroom instruction and instructors.

(some real good online videos on their webiste show the course layouts.)

And there are NASA (texas region) events too.
Thats what I did this weekend but was somewhat dissappointed. It was a RACING event. So you get less track time then you do with the other groups
