Message would not feel like it was "missing" quite as bad as if there was no spark at all. Injectors are just big sloenoids that pulse on and off real fast, right? Well a solenoid is a big coil and when an ignition coil in an old style ignition would start to degrade it would have problems working and would quit after a while of running. When a coil(old style ignition) is going out, it is affected by heat, so when the engine heats up the coil it starts going out. May work just fine when you start it, but goes downhill later. Well, I gues the same thing could apply to an injector or our coil-packs also. Ok, so I don't have any definitiv answers, but there are some possible ideas at least. :)
