Message You can definately buy two 90TTs in poor to fair condition for the price of one 93.5-94TT supra in good condition, but that is besides the point.

Z owners trash their cars, plain and simple. And not many are intelligent enought to warrent a deserving asking price for their cars (read: the cars get sold for a lot less than they should be, esp TTs). Therefore stupidly low pricing brings the demeanor of the car down...... Very sad.

The nice ones cost as much as an equal year Poopra. Maybe the readers on this board sell for less, but there are many others out there, much brighter, who actually get good dollar for their nicely kept Zs.

A problem I notice many have in getting 10s cars is that they spend the money and build up the car before it is ready to go to that level. People foget the maintainance. If you are pushing harder, and expect a 3 second reduction in 1/4 miles time, you should be doing much more routine maintainence, and not only changing the damn fluids. C'mon, a 130000mi engine that has had rough sports car use can't be looked at and then be expected to be a bulletproof performer for 1000s of 1/4mi redline runs with replace some wearing and aging stock internals, no production car was ever made for that, period. Shit, most fast Poopras are in the air more than they are on the street let alone the strip. The majority of the Z's are older, with more miles, abuse and wear, and it shows in the performance. Albert's car is a clear example. Doesn't it always seems like someone is getting bad compression in at least one cylinder?

No need for me to rant on, but I'm sure you get my point.
No offense directed.
