Message This happened about 4 years ago when I was still in College. I was driving behind this old pick-up on a 4-lane road in Tucson. The guy in the pick-up was in the left lane while I was behind him about two feet back in the right lane - both of us going the same direction at about the same speed. The guy suddenly switches lanes without signaling right in front of me and almost takes off the front of my car. I lay on the horn and throw the guy the finger as he looks in his rear-view mirror at me. He then gestures at me to pull over to the side of the road. Being the idiot College kid, I pull over behind him into this drive way just in front of a trailer park (this is Tucson of course).

We both get out of our cars at the same time. The guy looks like a 40+y/o construction worker who probably just left the local bar. Me on the other hand am dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and shorts on my way to a pool party. I certainly didn't look too threatening at the time.

Anyhow, the guy comes walking (almost running) at me and without saying anything, he takes a big ass round house swing and totally misses as I leaned back. The guy stumbles and falls to his knees right in front of me and without thinking, I kicked him in the face. His sun glasses broke in half and went flying off in two directions. As he is trying to stand-up, I got him in a headlock and started pounding him in the face with my right fist until this old lady came out of one of the trailer homes yelling and screaming that she has called the police.

I tell the guy that I'll let him go if he'll chill-out. As blood is running down his face from where his glasses cut his nose, he says "OK man let me up"

As we both stand-up I ask him what the fuck is wrong with him and why the hell did he cut me off without a signal. He then says "I did signal." I then explain that he sure as hell didn't. The guy then walks over to his truck and reaches inside the window to turn on his turn signal….and sure enough, they didn't work!

We both then get into our vehicles and drive away before the police arrive.
