Message	other stuff he told you doesn't seem quite right to me either. Like the head gasket blowing once you change it out, or being "better off" buying a used engine that replacing the turbos on the current engine. I don't think I'd be going to this guy for work on my car. Then again, I don't trust any mechanic with my car, learn to do the work yourself.
