you're lazy and keep putting off tightening your squealing drive belts and you end up leaving everyone thinking you drive a piece of shit because of the horrible sounds eminating from the car? I've had to stay on top of the belts ever since I installed the UD pulley and since it has gotten colder the squeal came back. Being the lazy guy that I am I put it off because it would just squeal for a few seconds after I started it up then it would quit. Anyway, I was walking back to my car after leaving a bar the other night and the girls in the sorority house across the street were really digging the car. Testing out the passenger seat, playing with the stereo, etc... I even gave a short explanation of the purpose of the Apexi Multichecker. You haven't lived until you've tried to explain all the functions of the Multichecker to inebriated sorority girls at 1 in the morning :) Difficult work to say the least. After I got done taking in all the gushing from the hot chicks, I decided to make my grand exit in true twin turbo fashion with the tires and B&B a blazin'. The Z had other ideas I'm afraid :( I hopped in the car, started her up and everything was was going according to plan. "It sounds so cool" they said, "You've got to take me for a ride sometime!" they asked. Agreeing to cruise back by later in the week, I put it in reverse and backed out into the street. Into first gear, tap the gas a little, then... squeeeeaaaaalll!!!! Ah crap, it'll go away, it always does. Nope, not this time. All the way down the block the Z screeched like a banshee. All the way up the next street too. I didn't really want to look around to see the reaction so I kept my head down until I was safley away. I got home and it was about 2 in the morning. Put it in the garage, jacked it up and tightened EVERYTHING. No more squeal, but I don't know if I'll ever go to that bar again. Oh well. You live and you learn.
