Well If you have heard of my subframe mod, I am going to be making it available for everyone. Originally I found some washers that sat on the upper portion of the lower subframe mounts. I performed this mod on many, many So Cal Z cars with fantastic results. I am now making some custom alluminum subframe spacers that fit perfectly on the lower subframe mounts and will compress the stock rubber bushing just the right amount to tighten the car up nicely, but still retain the the stock rubber bushing to isulate unwanted drivetrain noise and vibration. What it does is completely compresses the stock rubber bushings so the body does not float seperately from the subframe. This results in much more responsive handling and also greatly reduces wheel hop. The new subframe spacers will be available in red or blue anodized alluminum. This is a simple, do-it-yourself mod that will take less then an hour to install with a floorjack and a 14mm and 17mm socket and ratchet. This simple mod will accomplish the same thing that expensive subframe bushings do. And without having to go through the hassle or expense of removing the subframe ;)
