: OK,Ive been having a problem with my car for two months now, it feels like Im running on 5 cylinders, I found that when removing the coilpack connector to the cylinder nearest the windshield on the drivers side the car made no difference in its galloping idle. So I put a new set of spark plugs in, didn't solve it, so I figured it was an injector so Ive ordered injectors last week. : I decided to fiddle with it today and was checking the mas, cas, and tps connections, My sensors are corrosion free and the mas sensor itslef looks clean as hell. Then I decided to give that mangled mess of harnesses that connects to the ptu a little wiggle. Well guess what, It damn near stalled the car out at idle, so I m looking at the harness closest to the to and it looks like there is green gunk all around the connector. It was cold, I dont have a garage, and I have pneumonia, so I didnt get a chance to take the boost hoses off and get a good look and whats going on. : Could this be whats causing the car to drive like its on five cylinders and vibrate like a mofo? or is it just an additional problem ive bumped into?
