I will rant then VTD if you like. I think a lot of members here get sick of these stories for a few basic reasons. first who cares and who knows what you really beat. I can post i smoked John Force on the street, never mentioning I was in TT and he was with wife and kids in the minivan. For a race story to have any credit or meaning, both cars must be pretty equal and both drivers really racing. I think even Jack b would agree, him out running a car with 100hp less is not really a kill in his book. No skill involved just power. This is why I do not like formula 1 racing. Only a handful of teams have money, power, and staff to win. This does not represent the true talents of the drivers but who has the BUCKS. real racing is when all things are equal but the driver. most drag racers value a win when they get it by out driving a guy, not just blowing his doors off cause they have more power. road racers usually say you do not race the other drivers but the track and yourself. trying to beat your best lap is the real win. one reason I like the more stock oriented racing or divisions where cars are made more equal by rules. Then driving and setup win, not the team with the most money or wind tunnel time. So until you can race a car that is pretty equal to yours in a controlled environment, so we know the guy was there to race not just play, keep it to yourself. I really don't care if your stage 10 TT beat a ferrari. chances are the ferrari never intended to be a street racer or drag car. Plus who knows the skill level of driver or if he is even going to push his 100k+ car to limits to race Nissan. I would never risk damaging a diablo to shut up some punk in a Z or Supra. So give it a rest already. I think there is a big reason this forum has no kills section, we are above this level of street bravado bull shit. I am off the rant flame and VTD if need be.
