Message : From what I read it includes everything pictured, I was wondering if there is something wrong with this setup?
: I have never seen a post on these so I was curious:

: Is there a concern for pressure drop?

: Is the twin intake setup restrictive?

: Would a jwt hi-flow eprom effectively control the hks setup

: Also, would the fact that the fmic's are blocking the intake cause too much of a restriction?

: I know that hks filters are not everyone's favorite on this board, and Everyone will say that $2,200.00 is too expensive but If you break it down its not that bad. If you added together, stillen intercoolers, twin Hi-flow, and intercooler hard pipes you would come out about the same.
: Also, although the intake is blocked by the intercooler It should keep you from sucking in rain right? Currently I think I have damged my engine do to a week-long rainstorm that I drove in everyday with a my no-rain-guarded K&N, A problem which I have yet to remedy, and fear I will not be able to fix.
: Just a thought

: If no one has this kit, any opinions would be appreciated.

:

The problem with the intake is that all your air has to flow through 1 MAF sensor. Rather restrictive, and you do not need a dual pop program. I do not recommend that intake, but the FMIC is outstanding. For a little more you can get a Border or an Escort FMIC though.
