Message I think the GN engine is one of the best. Its peak HP number might not look so impressive, but it's the monstrous low end torque which accelerates that heavy car down the quarter mile so fast.

345 lbs of torque at 2000 rpm stock.

Many of the modded GN's have 800+ lbs of torque, and it comes at a pretty low rpm meaning that when you powerbrake it with a higher stall torque converter, that engine is going to be putting out max torque almost instantly when you launch.
