I think the EBC redstuff might work best for you, temp independent performance, really minimal brake dust, reasonable price compared to (pagid or porterfield or Carbon Race compind 80 and 90 series performance friction pads or the really good hawk stuff (not including the HPs, they are okay)), and they are really easy on rotors. I'm used to better pads (track in mind) that are more harsh on rotors, dust and make more noise. But my other track friends say the Red stuff is an excellent pad, for daily driving and a very occasional tracker like you. Tirerack also loves them, so you may check on their site for more details.
