Message	are hosed? Usually the brass fitting on the hose end gets chewed up before the casting of the master cylinder. At least that's how it was on a CRX, my RX-7, and Jeep I changed master cylinders on.... I don't know if you can re-tap the master cylinder if it is messed up or not, sorry.
