Message The greddy kit uses 8 cm 2 exhaust housings and a custom outlet on the compressor side of the turbo. The wheels and center section is the same. The A/R on the compressor side is the same the exhaust side is larger. IMO the greddy kit should have a bit more top end but be significantly laggier than the DSM 16 G TD05 counterpart. DSM's produce about 350 hp with a standard 16 g at around 22 psi. Thats with 2000 cc of displacement. I expect that if you used the DSM turbos on the Z you could get somewhere between 300 to 325 hp each side = 600 to 650 hp @ 22 - 25 psi. Due to the huge differences in design of the 2 motors i'd say the above #'s are an approximation at the best.

Still if you are looking for a less laggy setup that uses cheaper internal w/g you could use the DSM 16 g's sucessfully.

You can get a ported , clipped and creep proof (Read 35 mm internal W/G) TD05 for about $750. So you could do the turbos themselves for 1500 bux. You still have to concider the intake pipe adapter (should be relatively cheap) and the downpipes (big hassle - thus more expensive) and the oil / water lines (about 200 for steel braided setups). I suppose if you added it all up you are still looking at 3500 bux or so.

Maybe it makes sense to go with the HKS bb turbos at this stage ??
