i just said the 1/4 mile doesnt really mean shit to me. not that im not competitive, i just dont think its enough to judge a car by. again, against my brothers stang, hed get me in the 1/4 mile. great, not once while racing did we shut down at 90 mph, which should be my 1/4 time. nothing said bout a road course. on the street, if you race, do you ever stop at your 1/4 mile trap speed? i sure as hell dont, a race til the top of third (in a na anyway) is pointless. thats just getting to where the car is decent. plus, by where i live, there are almost no two lane stop lights/signs/etc. so highway speed races are the only ones we can get anyway.
