We only have the general GST - Goods & Services Tax, which does not apply to private sales. : Alberta does not have a provincial Sales Tax, so I don't know about the other provinces. 1 tax(GST) is applicable on a private sale in Ontario. And the tax is based on MTO RedBook values.
