Message Although not on a Z, one of our customers did a test of his Dodge Durango , highly built. He did 60-0 tests ( G-Tech Pro ) and measured the tire marks. He did a base line run before upgrades, after the addition of the A/P 6 Piston kit and then with Corvette rear calipers.

I have the charts on our web site, but noticed the link is not set correctly.

This test done by the customer showed a 20+ foot decrease in stopping distance. Not remember this was with a 6400 lbs vehicle. I will get the link corrected and have the actual charts and run data in feet.

Also note we have the brake specials up now - that only run until December 24th.

Regards

: stopping distance. I'm not referring to fade -- but stopping distance with cool brakes (like on the street). While I'm not disputing this -- it's probably true, but my question is: how do you know?? Has anybody (who does not sell brakes) ever made a comparison?

: I contend that if it just "feels" like your car stops better with a big brake kit, you might be fooled by the lighter pedal effort required by these bigger, grippier brakes.

: Informed answers please -- no more mindless "stock brakes suck" mantra.

: Thanks
: Dan
