: : You may not want to get a wider tire. The wider the tire the more likely it is to hydroplane. 245/50/R16s should fit fine though. I don't know much about those particular Nittos but the ones I've owned had a low tread wear reating and wore out super fast. Hope this helps!: : : I already posted this in Tech, but i guess not many people go to look at that board so i'm posting it here too. With all this rain we've been having in crappy ole Knox Vegas, TN i've gotten to thinking about getting new tires cause i'm sliding all over the road. My question is whether or not it's safe to put 245/50/16 on the stock front rims. I just want a little bit more traction, but you can't get 235/50 series tires, at least not that i can find. Oh yeah, and if you've heard talk about the Nitto NT-450s, good or bad, hit me up with that too. Thanks everybody. : : Adam
