just about anything. The problem is that most people never find the true limits of their car. They might learn to race, but never utilize all the potential because they never learn how. I've pushed many exotics and I feel the Z is just as good, and given a choice over the Porsches, Give me my Z because it feels better (especially over the new 996's). Thats my opinion of course, but remember how flat the Z is compared to any car for any price through a curve and if you can utilize hicas, it isn't so hard to get through the curve and get a high exit speed. Everyone talks wonders about little cars like the Miata, Mr2s, NSX or the earlier 911's and yes they handle well, but its just because you feel closer to the road because of its smaller size. That doesn't mean it handles better persay, rather it is a cozier fit and predictable. THe only reason I say predictable is because its easy to get used to it (911's) swinging its tail out because it doesn't plant its rear as well as lets say the Z. In my opinion, you can extract just about as much if not more in some cases (its better on the track (this is my bias) than Autocrossing of course( for this go with a lighter car)) if you just learn how to deal with its feel. And if you set the car up by lowering it a bit like it should've been in the first place and make some other suspension mods, the handling is awesome! As for similar contenders, I still think it handles better than the Supra (times don't tell the whole story, there are too many little variables present even in stock form that take away (like stock ZTT tires suck ass compared to some of the new rubber Vipers, BMW M's and Ferraris come with (Even the Supra came with wider and stickier rubber than the Z)). But cure the tires and you will be suprised, I know I was. The Vette and Supra are more powerful, thats why they are quicker, but please tell me how many of those cars you actually see on the track?!!! They just aren't the same! Regards,
