Message Talked with Clark Steppler, the programming guru at JWT re: maximum HP potential (within reasonable parameters) for the 555cc injectors and a Z32. He stated that at an 11.8-11.9/1 air/fuel ratio, the 555s are capable of supporting around 620 crank HP. If an aggressive/high octane fuel ratio is used, ie. 12.5/1, the HP produced is around 650-660 at the crank. My rough calculations state that that equates to 530-560ish at the wheels. He did say for short bursts(ie. 1/4 mile) that increasing the air flow and running leaner will result in additional HP, but only with HIGH octane fuel, ie. C16. He stated that running that lean by increasing the boost and not the fuel is risky, especially over time. Thought this might be interesting (or not) to some of you discussing these parameters lately. By the way, on a dual pop set up, when the voltage from the air flow meter hits between 4.15-4.18 volts you are out of injector with the 555s. Mark
