that has NOTHING to do with the trap speed, that is the speed you are going when you cross the traps. Not the time it takes to get there. I have run 12.5@126 with a shitty 60', as well as a 11.1 at 126 with a 1.63 60' as for the NOS I've never spooled up my car on the dyno with the nos, I didn't see the need, but another thing that has to do with power loss is the coverter. i have a very loose 4000 rpm stall converter that robs even more power as well as the fact that I don't lock up my converter when i go down the track, i will in the near future but have not yet, my car also did 18 dyno runs in a row that day and it was 90+ degrees outside, there are numerous other factors that I can say as excuses but that doesn't matter. What matters is that it is obvious that we make very similar power due to our trap speeds shawn : the 60 ft. the better the time and yes I know I saw and raced Zhound that day. Your also flawed with your dyno comparision. Alan M has the same set up as I except he has the JWT spool up kit. We also had the same compression and he had more miles on his Z then I did about 15,000 miles more. Anyways at 17 psi he dynoed at 399 rwhp. and I at 370 rwhp. The only real reason we think he got such high #'s was because of the cooling effect of the NOS after it shut off. What I'm saying is you can compare your #'s with Zhound. Besides if you guys were at the same track racing with the same driver you would have proven your point. And track condition determine a lot.
