to drive.... otherwise, if you had a 5-spd, he probably would have beat you because you wouldn't be able to get a little boost going and get the power to the ground. good kill! : So, my gf and I were cruising down the street when I pull up next to a C5. The guy kind of looks at me and then turns away. So I rev a little. I here him drop his auto into first so I wait for my green. I rev it to about 2K RPM while stepping on the brake (mine is also an auto). He doesn't rev at all, the light changes and I take off, he is way behind, I figure that he changed his mind about racing so I let off the gas. He blows by me after I've slowed. We get to the next red and I again rev. This time when I take off, he tries to be cocky about it and lets me get a jump on him. I don't slow down and he doesn't catch up, but stays about 2 cars lengths behind me until 80 when we both slow for traffic. Hmm, maybe my cats are gutted, but as far as I knew, I was stock.
