I (the Viper owner) spent $50K to have a car that will beat most anything on the street with no mods, you (me) spend $20K on a car then put $30K into the motor to make it as fast as my stock Viper. I said, no, one, I wouldn't buy an ugly viper (no flames, my personal opinion), and second, what I have done will eat your Viper and it's only getting faster. In disbelief we raced, over and over and over I sucked him up through my tailpipes and he's still making excuses. The sad thing is that with a little bit of money in that V10, that thing would rock my world even with the mods I have... Oh well, it all comes down to what you love, and my love is the Z. There is a time and a place for everything, the Viper is a potent contender but look at the 1000+ hp hondas, supras, (a z or 2 :( )........
