the mr2 is a great car as well, but the zx is pretty tough to beat as a fun, satisfying, sport/touring car. I would have to say the z's interior is superior in terms of style and user-friendlyness and the mr2 may be a bit more nimble on the road. The z will be more practical in terms of storage space and is a powerful, yet somewhat heavy touring car. You can get a 2 seater na as well as a 2+2, but the US spec turbos are all 2 seaters. The na z is a good performer, but just dont expect it to outrun everything in a drag race. It will definitely whup a na mr2, but the turbo mr will probably beat it handily. You can upgrade the na to a very high performance level, check out all the info here and begin the learning.... good luck and welcome to the best forum out there! Jeff : hi all. im new to the ZX game and i have a couple of "newbie questions" please bear with me. It came down between the Toyota MR2 and the 300ZX. I have, and always will love the mr2, and had my heart set on it....then a freind let me drive his Z, and i have NEVER been more happy in a car in my life. i have a hard time finding cars that fit me well, and the Z was perfect in every respect. (if you cant tell, ive changed my mind about the mr2...) but i had a couple of q's for you experts. i didnt get to push the limit in the Z (never push a friends car) how can i expect it to perform compared to the 2?(NA models, turbo not an option:(..) pros cons? and also can i get an NA in a non 2+2 format? when i do buy this winter, what should i look for? thanks all.
