the Stangs have a pretty good first and 2nd gear,and the NA's have a good 3-5th gearing.from a dead stop,the Cobra would have smoked him like a country ham.but rolling the way they were,the NA would be able to hang.if he had been in a stock GT,he would have walked away from him.if he had a TT,by the time he was in 4th gear,he would have been in a different zipcode from the Cobra.
