I agree with you that the Supra has better brakes and tires stock, but put similar drivers, there are so many ways around it. And tires giving skidpad numbers don't necessarily mean they grip as well on a normal road (with irregularities). The tires can be pushed to the edge and just trail-braking thru corners will allow fast turns and less brakeage. Thus allowing for better cooling to our brakes, which is the Z's weakness. All we need is a set of higher temp brake pads and fluid (why Nissan didn't figure this out, I don't know) and we need to insert some tubing from near the IC vents to the backside of the rotor (cut the heat shield off) to get more air to the rotors (then the brakes will be fade free). Then our brakes will work equally well as a Supra's even while letting the Poopra upgrade to similar pads and fluid. Peace,
