RC Engineering uses Lucas style injectors which are VERY prone to heat saturation in the injectors, this causes the injector to actually slow down its response time, so you often find lean spots after multiple runs or when the engine gets heat soaked. Lucas injectors (RC engineerings) use a pull type injection so to open the port for fuel it has to fight the fuel pressure that is in the system, this causes heat and thus problems/lean conditions/melted high expensive JE pistons result. I would suggest people use a bosch or siemens type injector that doesn't have the characteristics of the lucas style injectors. It should give you a better supply of fuel and less replacing expensive engine parts! Wyatt Leras [ [ www.raceprep.net ] ]
