That involve destroying the geometry of the turbo that make it do what it does. The T28 in the stock housing does this. I don't see any problem with putting a medium trim T25 in the stock compressor housing. A generalization on remanufacturing / rebuilding turbos being crap is an ignorant statement IMO - You yourself was telling the HKS GT owners they can have their ball bearing cartridges rebuilt. Are these shit too? No, they're not. The reason T28's blow up is because they run to hot and it cooks the seals out of the turbo (sometimes cooking the motor too). It has little to do with them just being remanufactured..
