: just been round to my mates workshop and finally after enough cajoling hes agreed that we can start pulling the engine out of our TD06 monster. The car is getting moved into position by/on Saturday and the fun shall begin. I don't know whos going to be more happy, the owner, the legendary technicion, or the speed freak :) : Once the engine is out everythings getting tidied up, some air ducts for the turbo inlets are getting built, damned good clean, hosing replaced, misc electrical crap removed (eg 02 sensor harnesses which are no longer used) and then it's all put back in again and tuning begins. : Pictures will be posted as we go. What manifold does that car have? The Greddy or Pentroof?
Are the exh housings small like TD05 housings or are they a true TD06 housing?
The reason why I ask is there are two blown but cheap TD06 20G turbos for sale at an auction, and a local speed shop has a used Greddy manifold thats very reasonably priced too. Understand what I am saying????
