Message	there is more friction involved. It transmits engine harmonics to the valve train. The belt is far superiour from a performance stand point. It has inherent dampening qualities against vibrations and little friction. Look at a motor cycle with with chain drive versus belt. The owners of belt drive find it much more comfortable and smoother transition of power. I am starting to sound like Ashe..LOL Arizona'a most powerful 600HP 15 second Z More powerful than a stock TT , slower than an NA Dynoed 515 rwhp and 420 ft.lbs @ 16psi 89 degrees. 533 rwhp and 450 ft. lbs @19 psi and slipping clutch and heat soaked motor , 85 degrees.
