I ran my stage III last night and was rather upset that I could not get any traction. On the street I can launch perfectly @3k rpm slipping the clutch but that does not work for shit at the track. I ran five times and four out of the five times I was bouncing all over the place with wheel hop. I have a feeling it has something to do with the vht they spray at the track because on the street I scratch 1st through third but I never get wheel hop. The track is really sticky. Any who my times are as follows(all runs had traction probs wheel hop in first and second)
13.7 at 101 (launched at 3k)
14.0 at 106(launched at 2.5k)
14.0 at 106(launched at 2k)
14.6 at 103(this time I lauched like a baby no wheel hop but craaaapy time)
14.1 at 107 (let a little air out the tires and did a burn out on street tires launched bad got frustrated and burnt out/hopped allll of first gear.) After the fifth run I said funk it I am going home before I break something.
Any suggestions on how to improve my times I am wasting at least a .5 to 1 second on wheel hop.
