Yes at first it will have problems, but with the hard drive the X-Box has, they can probably release patches that are loaded during startup to fix problems. The technical specs show the X-Box to be much more powerful than the PS2. When developers finally discover how to use all the system's power, then games will kick ass. One question I have is how efficient the X-Box's OS is. If the OS needs a lot of overhead, then it may bog the system down, much like a car with a poweful engine but using an old tranny with 30% loss to the wheels, lol
