You know it will be a lot more $. My thoughts are, buy the WRX, and mod it. I haven't found anything that a novice can't do. Ball bearing turbos, barely over $1K, you can open the hood and spit on the turbo with your eyes closed. STI injectors drop right in with no other mods needed. You're still doing 25+ MPG and handeling great as an all season snow, mud, any condition car. No reason in waiiting for anything. It just leaves you wanting basically what you can have. I see people post it all the time "I'm waiting on the STI". Well, nobody is confirming that the STI is even coming and when, or how much it will be. So, I tell em get back with me when you get one, meanwhile, I have practically the same car to enjoy and mod past the STI level easily. It's like the SMZ vs a ZTT. Yeah, it's sweet as hell, but you basically have the same car and spent much less to mod it past the SMZ. It takes a while to prove a point sometimes, but most people are really regretting waiting on the Skyline among many other cars. Wait for the right woman, not a damn car you don't know is coming, how much and it's specs. But if you still wish to wait, be sure and say hi at the track when you see me cruising 12's on street tires =). Tell me all about the car you're waiting to be released and let me know when it's here, if it's a great deal, I'll trade in.
