I went drag racing last weekend and my best run was 13.369 @ 107 with a 60 foot time of 2.248. The last time I went was almost a year ago, my best run then was 13.135 @107 with a 2.160. On average, my 60 foot times were about .2 seconds slower this year and my quarter mile times were about .4 seconds slower. The only changes to the car have been Eibach springs, Brullen exhaust, new clutch (last year was on a stock clutch), and the car/tires have about 5K more miles than last year. My question is what was causing the poor 60 foot times? The miles on the car/tires, the stiffer springs, or poor driving on my part? Or something else I missed?
