It's just a matter of trying something different and being different from the other fast Toyotas... Not to mention that he'd be able to compete in the Non-Import NHRA Pro-Stock series where there's more money. There's obviously nothing wrong with the 2JZ and it hasn't even seen it's full potential yet. There are quite a few other teams that are building Pro-Import 2JZ motored vehicles in fact Paisley is building a IS using the 2JZ and will probably be in the Outlaw class.
