Message	.......sorry to shout, but this message will go at the bottom, so I gotta get yer attention. Anyway.... ...I agree with this post, with the exception of the stock precats being horrible. Anybody got numbers to prove this? Of course, my precats are seriously ported/gutted, to remove the flange blockage that is mentioned, and I would guess that the porting is a necessity, but are ported precats really that much worse than 2.5" downpipes? Phrases like "just look at the bends" are not proof. Not being disrespectful, but I haven't seen any proof of before/after, and I HAVE heard from some well-known tuners that downpipes do not produce the benefits over *ported* precats that most think.
