: well, anyway...copper is most desirable...make sure they are dimpled for maximum seal. : after breaking in the motor over 250 miles of good heat soaking, you will need to go in and retorque the heads. : the copper is less prone to blowout due to high pressure. : the copper is less likely to get brittle, and 'dry out'. : the copper is more impervious to heat loads. : all around, copper is very desirable... : I copper gasketed everything on my lt-1 build up...all serious hot rodders do copper gaskets.
