Message obviously the full throttle shift is useless on an automatic but the lauch control is not.

you see one thing that drag racers like to have is a two step rev limiter. That way they can set there launch rpm floor the car and pay attention to the lights instead of the tach. It will also build boost in automatic cars because when it cuts out a cylinder it is putting a load on the motor causing the boost to rise.

the lauch control would be a great asset to an auto that drag races because you can set the launch rpm right below the converters stall speed, floor the car and just watch the lights, and when the last yellow comes on, just lift the brake and off you go.

this is one of the main reason I was considering buying this unit.

you see, the other two ways to put a two step in the Z involve installing 2 msd digital boxes, or buying the jwt launch control option for the ecu, which is expensive and nonadjustable, you have to send it back to hime. The msd is adjustable but expensive just for a two step, where as the traction control has the two step as well as the other major benefits of the unit.

BTW bernie have you taken your car to the track with the tc yet, and if you have what was your best 60 ft, I want to know if it is capable of cutting a 1.45-1.5.
