sure its not a Clifford, Alpine or Viper but at 1 time...Cliff and Viper were nobodys too. also...i figure im not spending extra dough on the name. i did mention this to you once before and ill just mention it again but this thing is packed...and i mean packed...chock full of nuts with just 1 little remote. It does everything my old Clifford Concept 400 did and more. Heres what i like most ouside the normal alarm features(shock, glass breakage sensor, keyless entry, lights flash, panic...etc) This system includes an idiot proof autostarter
it was extra on all Alpines, cliffords and Vipers i looked at
Windows roll up on arm and manual roll down
like any other alarm..this is optional but since i had the moduals, this works just the same
Proximity disarm
this is a super nice feature and only makes sence on any alarm. Your approaching the car anyways...why noy have it "unlock" itself!
Auto re-arm
again...another nice feature that i like. If i fail to open a door after un-arming...the alarm re-arms itself. Do not confuse this with "auto-arming"
Remote beeping advising car is not armed
This is excellent...i always look to see if i forgot to arm my car. The remote beeps to tell you "hey stupid...lock your car"...lol
Theres also a visable aspect on the remote showing..armed or disarmed.
Extended range powered interior antenna
this small flat box gets mack tacked on the front windshield above the rear view mirror. It has a 5" antenna that assists in the pager and proximity functions.
Interactive remote
At first i thought it was hoaky...but now i cant do without looking at it. The remotes face is like a "status" indicator. Simular to your cellphone.
-It tells me which door/hood/trunk the attempted break in was
-Time of day
-Tempurature "inside" the car
-Nightime illumination (simular to cellphones...touch a button and if its night out..the screen lights up)
-Arm/Dis-arm indicators

Pager
last but not least...it pages me when the alarm goes off
Theres alao a vibrate mode which was a must for me...when im in meetings, movie theatre, noisy bar and....its a 6 button remote with a leather case. (looks like a mini cellphone)
Remote is all metalic silver with light blue border surrounding the LED status screen and the buttons are chrome and black.

oh...before i forget...theres none of that 8 tone siren shit and have not had any false alarms at all
