Message : From the write-ups that Bernie has done about this product, it seems like it makes dramatically good changes. If it does everything that its claimed to do, are there any other products out there that do the same thing?

There are other products out there that do some of the things that Racelogic's unit does, but no other product does everything that the Racelogic does. For example, Jim Wolf makes a launch control for their modified ECU's. There's some products out there that datalog, like the Haltech. Also, there are a few traction control companies out there, but they aren't performance oriented like Racelogic.

Why is Racelogic the only one that I have heard of?

The market for these things isn't really that big... that'd be my guess.

Also, just how beneficial is the actual unit? Ive got a stage3+ automatic and at higher boost with crappy tires, I sometimes get wheelspin. Is this what racelogic is for?

HECK YA, this is what it's for! I used to get MASSIVE wheelspin in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. I would actually get beat by stg. 3 Z's sometimes (and I'm at stage XII+++!!) because of the wheelspin. But now, I get just the perfect amount of wheelspin... just a tad... enough to keep optimum power going, but not enough to keep me standing still. Look at it this way... with the unit OFF, my best 1/4 mile time was 13.3s... mainly due to wheelspin. But, with the unit ON, my best 1/4 mile time was 12.2s! AND, that was during my first time out at the track... without much practice with my new setup!

Or is it mainly to expand cornering capabilities?

Both. It excels at providing maximum straightline acceleration as well as cornering.

Next, will this dramatically increase a 1/4 mile time?

Depends... if you're getting a lot of wheelspin, then yes it will.

If i turn up my boost more and launch at a higher rpm that would normally make me burn out, will the racelogic system *very quickly* correct the skid, enabling me to launch faster?

Yes, but since you have an automatic Z, you'd have to get a different stall converter for your tranny in order to launch with more boost. On 5spd Z's, launching with boost is key... and that's what the launch control option does!

Also, whats the deal with the turbo boost?

Sounds too good to be true

heheheh... I'll be posting some testimonials later, and asking for members who already have it to make some statements... you'll see how good it is. Put it this way... I installed the unit on my Z and liked it so much that I started selling the damn things! lol.
