The deal with the boost is that w/o traction control, when you go into a turn or something, you let off the accelerator pedal, closing the throttles. If you're at high boost, the boost will build up for a fraction of a second in the intake hoses and intercoolers. This leads to your recirc valves (or BOVs) letting it out. When you get on the gas again, you have to spool up again. With traction control, you don't have to get off the gas. If the back tires start to slide, the TC stops the injectors. This leaves the throttles open, pushing boost into the cylinders, even though you're going to 'miss' because there's no fuel. When the tires grip again, the injectors start spraying, and you still have full boost. At least, that's what I've heard from Damon. :) -rlpm
