Message I have decided to go ahead and use header wrap on the manifold, exhaust side of the turbo and the downpipe. So far everything is going pretty smooth.
After some research, I found that this might just really be a good idea.

Nixit brought up a few good points with regards to the wrap trapping moisture and causing more rust than usuall. Nixit also talked about there being too much heat to the turbos.

Anyone here using or have tried header wrap like this?

I planned to be dropping my engine in my Z finally this weekend, but my unit has been called in and I have been on constant alert. Been working about 90-92 hrs this week so far. But that is nothing to what the firefighters and all the others are doing.

Here are some pics of each side of the install so far.

I am wondering if I should leave it all there, but remove just the wrapping that I have on the turbo itself. What do ya'll think about that idea?

Once I get it all in, I'll let ya'll know if it really works or not.

More pics of my rides and family this way!
