Message	My world here in NYC is slowly but surely turning right side up again. Last Tue, I got out of the horror in time. But we @ Merrill Lynch lost access to our primary buildings at World Financial Center and our nearby alternative trading site @ 222 Broadway(where I was working). We've spent the last 4 days rebuilding a trading floor from scratch. I just finished another 14 hour day of high pressure systems work. Getting files from tape backup. Configuring software. Making sure traders have machines. Talking to other firms on Wall Street about trading connectivity. Testing. We started with a completely empty floor of desks in Jersey City,NJ. And in 4 days we've built a fully functional trading floor. Pretty intense! And cool to see the large number of people all working together to get this done. Again another example of people getting together to do what has to be done to rebuild our way of living. I'm gonna get some rest now. Gotta get up @ 4:30am to make sure America is trading once again @ 9:30!!! -Arnel Z32racing - Site last updated 09/15/2001.
