We had a total of 80 members contribute $2,400. (Gundam Fairlady snuck in at the last minute and gave us a nice round number to finish with :-) I would like to extend the site's thanks and my own personal thanks to each of you that contributed. I know we've all been hearing about the millions of dollars given by corporations and huge website drives (like Amazon) but I firmly believe every dollar helps and I am extremely proud and honored to be involved with a group of people like you that are willing to go the extra mile. I would also like to thank everyone who has donated any of their money, blood, or time through other venues to assist in the recovery of the attacks on NYC and Washington. What really matters is that you gave, not that you gave through this website. You can see donor names (I hope you don't mind) by clicking the link at the top of the page. The money will be donated in its entirety early this week. I am trying to get PayPal to waive the processing fees associated with this, but if they don't we will make up the difference so the Red Cross gets the full $2,400. Again, thank you all. THIS is what makes me proud to be an American. :-)
