Message	Now, I have never done this myself, so I can't personally vouch for it, but my buddie's '94 stage IV TT had the same problem. He said pulling and plugging the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator cured it. He was as baffled by why as I. Give it a shot? Sorry I don't have anything more substantial to offer. Spark plugs and ignition timing ok?
