hmm this might be a wee bit on the long side, its late, I ramble. I've considering switching to the dark side and giving up my 2+2 for a TT. But the only TT's I can find have had the poo beaten out of them, and there seems to be an abundance of autos. Anyways, after driving somone elses TT(auto) I like
my 2+2 better in every way except the not having turbo. One thing I noticed was my 2+2 seems to have a meaner sound and feel to it. Im not real sure how to describe it. I know that even with mine being an auto ( i want stick!) with
the pedal mashed to the floor, I can squeal the tires some.
The auto TT I drove didnt. I could definatly feel the boost
kicking in, but my 2+2 seemed to have quite a bit better
low end. I know the FAQ for NA to turbo states you should just buy a TT, however, it also mentioned someway of running just a
small amount of boost without having to replace everything.
Does anyone have any info and/or prices on how I could do
that? Or better yet, anyone seen any cherry red, green, or silver
TT's with fairly low milage and a 5 speed for sale in the Austin area? I have tasted boost and there is no return.
