Today i was driving and just taking the nice turns around where i live, in the country like area, and it was all good, then i get on Rt.40, and everythign is fine, when i am comming up to a stop light,i started to push my brakes, and the pedal just goes to the floor, so I am pumping them, and it barely slowed down, so i had to use my tranny to slow down with, ( my e brake needs adjusting) Finally i stop into a parking lot, and i get out, and i seen brake fluid everywhere! I am like "shit!" So I turn the wheel, and look behind the brake caliper, and notice that there is only 1 caliper bolt!, the other one came loose and fell off, From that, i made the hard brake line comming out the back of the caliper bend and twist, and it cracked it! So now im stuck with no brakes, So i call a tow truck, I told him my car is pretty low, its a 300zx, so he said "okay" He gets to my car, and is like "I can't tow that!" (it was a rollback) and im like "You don't have any peices of wood so it won't rip off the front end?" he says " NO, and i tell him, I might beable to find somthing to use" I turn around and he's in his truck, and he freakin leaves me there! So i call another one, and he comes, and says its $100 to tow it only like 10 miles! i said hell no, So then some guy comes up in a tow truck and says' he'll try to see if he can tow it from the back, and it BARELY cleared my Greddy Exhaust, He takes me all the way back to my house, and dropps me off, and my car, and i say so now what was the total? and he says.. "Nah don't worry about it!, i've been in your type of situation before!" so i am saying thank you like 10000 times, and he leaves. So now i need to order a new caliper bolt (anyone know the part number? front drivers side, bottom bolt, and cost?) And need to get a new brake line. So im thinking i might just buy the cross drilled brake kit that Gotrice has for sale. Not 100% positive yet. since i need new tires, and a alignment, Thing that really sucks is that... my parents are away for vacation, and i can't order these parts yet! So im Zless for a lil while, im pimpin my dad's Truck! lol. just venting about my day! later, Shawn300z
